Pecan Fried Okra

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups bisquick
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 20 oz okra

Directions:

  1. Place pecans in an even layer in a shallow pan.
  2. Bake at 350 fpr 10 minutes.
  3. Process pecans, bisquick and salt and pepper in a food processor.
  4. Place mixture in a large bowl, add okra and toss to coat.
  5. Fry in oil until golden an drain on paper towels.
