Ingredients:

  • 1 package. yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup. butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup. corn syrup
  • 1 tsp.. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup. packed brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Reserve 3/4 cup of the cake mix.
  2. Combine remaining cake mix with butter and 1 egg.
  3. Mix til crumbly.
  4. Press in bottom 13x9 baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350 for 15 min.. or until golden brown.
  6. Combine the reserved cake mix with brown sugar, corn syrup, and 3 eggs.
  7. Mix until well blended.
  8. Pour over baked crust; sprinkle with pecans.
  9. Return to oven and bake for 35 min.
  10. Cool and cut into squares
