Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine sugars and butter.
  3. Add peanut butter and vanilla.
  4. Mix in eggs.
  5. Add flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal.
  6. Bake in a 9 X 13 inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Cool.
  8. Melt chocolate chips and spread on bars.
  9. Enjoy.
