Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream together peanut butter, butter and shortening.
  3. Add, in order: flour, sugar, brown sugar, egg, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  4. Place tablespoon-sized amounts onto ungreased cookie sheets and press a criss-cross pattern into the cookies with a fork.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. As soon as you take them out of the oven, sprinkle with sugar.
