Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Melt stick of butter in baking pan (9x13).
  2. Mix batter- including only one of the two cups sugar.
  3. Pour into melted butter- do not stir.
  4. Pour peaches on top.
  5. Sprinkle with additional cup sugar- do not stir.
  6. Optional -may sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  7. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minute.
