Ingredients:

  • 1 (40 oz) can kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 3 tbsp chili powder

Directions:

  1. 1.Rinse kidney beans and chickpeas. Set aside.
  2. 2, In medium saucepan sauté garlic and onion in olive oil.
  3. Add beans, chickpeas, and remaining ingredients
  4. And bring to a boil.
  5. 3. Simmer for 20 minutes or longer until thick.
