Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pecan halves ( look for the largest you can find)
  • salt , according to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place pecan halves in a single layer onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet (the parchment helps with the cleanup).
  3. Place the pats of butter randomly over the pecans.
  4. Salt liberally or to taste (you can add more as you bake them).
  5. Bake in the oven for 15-25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until browned (I like my pecans pretty browned, so you can adjust the time to your own preferences).
