Ingredients:

  • someone requested a recipe for carmel corn. this is 1 that my
  • aunt use to make and it was always good. mine never seemed to be
  • as good as hers but isn'tsp that the way it always seemed as we
  • got older and made our own.
  • oven carmel corn
  • 3 3/4 qts. popped corn
  • 1/2 cup. butter or marg.
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 cup. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Divide popped corn between 2 ungreased pans (13x9). Heat sugar
  2. Syrup, and salt; stirring occasionally until bubbly around
  3. Edges. Continue cooking over medium heat, 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in soda until foamy.
  5. Pour on popped corn. Stir until corn is coated. Bake 1 hour;
  6. Stirring every 15 minutes.
