Ingredients:

  • 1 (1/4 oz) envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shortening

Directions:

  1. Dissolve unflavored gelatin in cold water.
  2. Set in heat proof cup in pan; Simmer until clear.
  3. Let cool.
  4. Cream together shortening, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
  5. Add gelatin.
  6. Beat for 10 minutes.
  7. Put a spoonful onto one cookie top with another cookie then press cookies gently together.
