Orange-Poppy Seed Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Beat all ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
  2. Pour batter evenly into 2 greased and floured 8- x 4-inch loafpans.
  3. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pans on wire racks.
