Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp butter or 4 tbsp margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 grated orange , rind of

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.
  2. Grease or use paper liners in one 12-muffin tin.
  3. Cream together butter or margarine and sugar.
  4. Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt in seperate bowl.
  5. Mix together egg and milk in small bowl.
  6. Add egg/milk mixture alternately with flour mixture to creamed butter/sugar.
  7. Grate orange rind into mixture.
  8. Spoon into prepared muffin tins.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until done.
