Ingredients:

  • 1 medium navel orange
  • 1/2 cup. of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. of water

Directions:

  1. First you wan to select Navel oranges that have the thinnest peel.
  2. Note: If your oranges is large double the amount of water and sugar.
  3. Next you want to wash the orange thoroughly.
  4. Then cut off both ends of the orange.
  5. Now cut the orange in half, cut each half in about eight sections.
  6. Next you want to place the orange sections in the food processor and pulse until the peel in is tiny pieces.
  7. Now in a medium saucepan place the processed orange, the water and the sugar and bring to a gentle boil.
  8. Let this boil for 15 approx. minutes, stirring frequently.
  9. This needs to let cool, then place in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid.
  10. Refrigerate.
  11. When the jamis cold it is ready to eat.
  12. I use 1/2 c. of sugar and 1/2 c. of Splenda..
