  2. SIMMER THE CLEAN ORANGES IN HOT BOILING WATRE FOR 30 MINS .
  3. COOL AND PUREE UNTIL SMOOTH .
  4. SET ASIDE .
  5. CREAM THE BUTTER AND SUGAR .
  6. ADD THE BUTTERMILK AND ALL THE ING.
  7. MIX WELL .
  8. ADD THE PUREE AND ESSENCE . MIX WELL .
  9. BAKE FOR 50 MINS .
  10. POUR THE SYRUP ON TOP .
