Ingredients:

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 3/4 cup grated cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Saute onion in melted butter until transparent.
  2. Mix biscuit mix and cheese, stir in milk to form a dough.
  3. Turn onto lightly floured surface and knead 20-30 seconds
  4. Divide-put into 2 8 inch greased pans
  5. Spread onions on top, sprinkle with salt.
  6. Combine egg and sour cream.
  7. Spread over onions.
  8. Bake 425 degrees until well risen and browned..about 15-20 minutes.
  9. Cut into squares.
  10. Serve warm
