Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cover onions with salted water and cook until clear looking.
  2. Drain in colander. Put onions in a well-buttered casserole dish.
  3. Add lots of butter and black pepper to taste.
  4. Put a layer of crushed Ritz crackers, then a layer of cheese.
  5. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake about 20-25 mintues in preheated 350 degree oven.
