Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 11/2 cup rasins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and shortening with sugars until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, beat well.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix into creamed mixture.
  4. Fold in rasins, dates and pecans.
  5. Drop onto lined or greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 375F for 8-10 mins.
