Oaxacan - Garlic And Chili  Flavored Peanuts

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat chilies, garlic, and oil in a heavy skillet until garlic turns
  2. Golden.
  3. Stir frequently so it doesn't scorch
  4. Remove chilies and garlic, and pour peanuts into oil.
  5. Stir over medium heat about 5 minutes until slightly browned.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and chili powder and stir well.
  7. Remove from heat and store in a covered jar or tin.
  8. Store at least 24 hours before serving.
  9. These improve with age.
  10. Chiles and garlic can be returned to peanut mix if desired for color and flavor.
