Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup regular oats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup golden raisins (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place first 5 ingredients in a large
  3. Bowl. Beat with a mixer at medium
  4. Speed until well blended. Lightly
  5. Spoon flour into a dry measuring cup;
  6. Level with a knife.
  7. Add flour, oats, and salt to egg
  8. Mixture; beat well.
  9. Stir in raisins and walnuts.
  10. Drop by level tablespoons, 1 1/2
  11. Inches apart, onto a greased baking
  12. Sheets, or lined with parchment paper
  13. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes
  14. Or until lightly browned. Remove from
  15. Oven; let stand 2 minutes. Remove
  16. Cookies from baking sheet.
  17. Serve warm.
