Ingredients:

  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 3 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Soak water and yeast for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar,salt, shortening to milk.
  3. Add yeast,egg,flour.
  4. Beat till smooth.
  5. Place dough in Large greased bowl.
  6. Let stand 10- 15 minutes.
  7. Punch down, shape into rolls.
  8. Let rise.
  9. Bake 375F degrees until lightly brown.
  10. About 20 minutes.
