Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine nuts and brown sugar. With a wooden spoon, stir in butter.
  2. For pie.... press into a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Refrigerate ..add favorite filling
  4. For cake... such as cheese cake
  5. Cut an 8-inch circle of parchment paper and place in bottom of 8 springform pan with removable bottom. Press nut mixture over bottom of pan. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
