New York Rye Bread for the Bread Machine

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water , plus
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 1 3/4 cups bread flour
  • 3 tbsp wheat gluten
  • 3 tbsp dry milk

Directions:

  1. Add to your bread machine according to manufacturers directions.
  2. I mix the flours and the gluten and caraway seeds before adding.
