Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup water (more or less will be needed)
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 pinch curry powder

Directions:

  1. Put 2 cups flour into mixing bowl.
  2. Add water little by little, and knead at the same time. stop adding water when the dough becomes ball-ish.
  3. Add cumin seeds and garlic, knead inches.
  4. Take a handful of flour, knead dough until nothing is sticky.
  5. Make little balls about 2 inches in diameter.
  6. Roll out into flat circles, pat back and forth between hands, powder with flour and set aside.
  7. Heat pan for 2 minutes or until super hot, add olive oil, (the more oil, the more traditional it will taste, just don't overdo it) let oil boil.
  8. Put in flat dough until it bubbles and bottom has brown spots, flip.
  9. Once done, put naans into a bowl with ventilation (like a strainer) and keep napkins or paper towels between the naans.
  10. Serve with chicken curry on the side, or eat as a snack.
