Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallow
  • 1 cup brown sugar , firmly packed

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening, butter,and sugar.
  2. Beat in 1 egg and 2 egg yolks.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Spread batter in a 9 x 13 pan.
  5. Sprinkle walnuts, chocolate chips and marshmallows over batter.
  6. Beat the two egg whites remaining until stiff. Fold in brown sugar; spread over top.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes. WATCH IT.
