Mrs. Fields' Chocolate Chip Raisin Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar , packed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs , large
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups raisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Cream sugars and butter in a large bowl.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing at medium speed until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  5. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture.
  6. Fold in raisins and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 22- 24 minutes.
  9. Transfer immediately to cool, flat surface.
