Most Wanted French Toast Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Grease bottom and sides of 13 x9 pan.
  2. In seperate bowl, melt the butter, then stir in the brown sugar.
  3. Add 1 level tsp cinnamon to mixture and stir until mixed.
  4. Take half of mixture and spread on bottom of pan.
  5. Layer 6 pieces of bread over butter mixture.
  6. Take other half of butter mixture and evenly spread over slices of bread.
  7. Place remaining 6 slices of bread over this.
  8. Mix well 7 eggs, 1 1/2 cup milk, 1 level tsb cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp vanilla.
  9. Pour over entire bread.
  10. Cover and leave in refrigerator overnite. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes, or to desired browness. I have a convection oven and cook for 24 minutes.
  11. DELICIOUS as is, or you can serve with syrup, or whipped cream. If you have a favorite sauce, just pour on top. You can also spread preserves. Enjoy!
