Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • 4 tbsp fresh mint
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Boil the rice in the usual way
  2. When 3/4 quarters done add the mint ,melted butterand the lemon juice.
  3. If you are using mint sauce from a bottle add 1 tsp sugar with it and the butter to counteract the vinegar in the mint sauce.
  4. Serve it with lamb cutlets ,chicken roasted or shrimp dishes.
