  1. Sift together the flour and baking powder; set aside.
  2. Beat eggs until very thick and light, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Gradually beat in sugar.
  4. Fold in sifted dry ingredients until blended.
  5. Combine milk and flavorings and heat until hot. A.
  6. Dd the hot milk mixture to the batter and beat on low until smooth and well blended.
  7. Pour into a greased and lightly floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with no particles clinging.
