Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour pan.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Add flour, salt, baking powder, and finally the liquids.
  5. Beat everything together on low for 30 seconds, then high for 3 minutes.
  6. Immediately pour into the prepared pans and bake for 25 minutes
  7. Let cool on wire racks for at least 15 minutes before un-moulding.
