Ingredients:

  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Directions:

  1. In large saucepan heat molasses and butter til the butter melts.
  2. Stir in the potatoes mixing til smooth, add dry ingredients, mix well.
  3. Mix in walnuts.
  4. Drop onto greased sheet, bake at 375' 10-12 min.
