The Bumblebees Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup flour
  • pinch salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup mashed bananas (about 3 large)

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening and sugars.
  2. Add vanilla.
  3. Mix dry ingredients, add alternately with mashed bananas to sugar mixture.
  4. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake 50 minutes at 350F.
  6. Let cool in pan 10 minutes, unmould onto wire rack and cool completely.
