Mashed Garlic Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 6 large potatoes , pared and chunked
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Boil potatoes.
  2. Drain and mash.
  3. Simmer garlic in butter in a covered saucepan for 20 minutes.
  4. Beat in flour.
  5. Whisk in cream and seasonings.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Cook one minute.
  8. Puree garlic mixture.
  9. Add to potatoes.
  10. Add extra tbsp butter
  11. Serve or.
  12. This can be whipped and pressed out of a large tip decorator in a design.
  13. Brush with beaten egg
  14. Broil before serving.
