Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup cream (10%)
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Liberally grease an 8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan bring to a boil the maple syrup, cream, and butter.
  3. Boil, uncovered, until a drop in cold water forms a soft ball(236-238 degrees F).
  4. Remove from heat and cool until lukewarm without stirring.
  5. Beat until creamy then turn into baking pan.
  6. Let set then cut into squares.
  7. Beautiful on a holiday tray if they last that long!
