Ingredients:

  • 3 cups maple syrup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Put maple syrup and milk in heavy saucepan.
  2. Boil to the soft ball stage, or about 235 degrees on the candy thermometer.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
  4. Beat until mixture is creamy.
  5. Add nuts.
  6. Pour mixture into 8 inch buttered square pan and spread out evenly.
  7. Let cool until firm.
  8. Cut into pieces.
  9. Store in airtight container in a cool place.
