Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 with rack in middle of oven.
  2. Use a melon baller to core apples leaving 1/2 apple at bottom and forming 1/2 cavity in apple.
  3. Remove a 1 strip of peel from top of apples then place in baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl combine cranberries, nuts, syrup and cinnamon.
  5. Fill apple cavities with mixture.
  6. Use some of the syrup left in the bottom of the bowl to brush tops of apples.
  7. Pour apple cider into bottom of baking dish and cover dish with foil and bake 50 minutes.
  8. Cool apples to lukewarm and serve with cooking juices and yogurt.
