Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup thyme
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • mix the ingredients together and spread it on the cut dough circle.

  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato

  • put the sausage on the cut dough circle, fold the sides on top and sprinkle cheddar cheese.

Directions:

  1. Dough: Mix the dry ingredients (not the water and oil) and form a circle shape with a hole in the middle, put the water and oil in the middle and start pushing the ingredients to the middle, mix by pushing and rolling forward not pressing it until you get consistent non sticking dough. Leave it to rest in a warm place for an hour.
  2. Spread the dough (not thick - as it will rise when baked) and cut into small/medium circles and spread the desired topping.
  3. Bake in a preheated to 360 F oven for 15 – 20 minutes.
  4. Serve as a tea snack or children’s light/on the way snack.
