Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup craisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl cream the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, beat well.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cardamom, oats, raisins, and craisins and chopped nuts, mix well.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake until lightly brown.
  7. Cool on wire rack.
  8. Do not over bake.
