Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Coarsely chop the chocolate and set aside.
  3. Cream the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt.
  6. Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the butter and sugar mixture, being sure not to overbeat the dough.
  7. Stir in the chocolate.
  8. Bake on greased cookies trays for 8-10 minutes.
