Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 3 tbsps. sugar
  • 3 1/2 cup. flour
  • 1/2 cup. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pecan halves

Directions:

  1. Mix all together.
  2. Shape into small flat cakes.
  3. Make hole in top.
  4. Fill with apple jelly.
  5. Put pecan on jelly.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar.
  8. Yield-4 dozen.
