Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 lemons , rind of, finely shredded (or oranges or orange and lemon)

Directions:

  1. Put sugar and water in saucepan, heat enough to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Pour over shredded rind and allow to cool.
  3. Strain and add juice.
  4. Dilute to taste.
