Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine

Directions:

  1. Stir together first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in butter, zest, and lemon juice. Serve warm or cold.
