Lemon Roasted Slow Cooker Chicken

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Remove and discard any excess fat from chicken.
  2. Place onion in cavity and rub skin with butter.
  3. Place chicken in slow cooker and squeeze lemon juice over chicken.
  4. Sprinkle chicken with lemon peel, salt, and thyme.
  5. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
