Last Of Last Falls Squash

Ingredients:

  • winter squash , 1 or 2 lbs.
  • 4 tblsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Seed and peel squash, slice 1/2 inch thick
  2. Place slices in baking dish, add water, and cover
  3. Bake 45 minutes 400*F.
  4. Remove cover, dot with butter, drizzle with honey, lightly season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake 15 miutes more or until tender and lightly browned.
