  1. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Stir until smooth and set aside.
  3. Brown the onions with the garlic, using the olive oil.
  4. Add the diced chicken to the onions if you are using raw chicken.
  5. Mix the chicken and onions in the bowl.
  6. Put mixture into a baking dish.
  7. Top with a thick layer of the fried onions, chips, or crackers.
  8. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
