Jetts Peanut Butter Put On The Pound Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Grease & flour 10 inch tube pan. Line with wax paper
  3. Cream butter, peanut butter & sugar
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
  5. Add flour. baking powder, salt, alternately with milk, ending with flour
  6. Add vanilla and mix in well.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan
  8. Drop batter filled pan on counter to release air bubbles.
  9. Place pan in center of the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until cake tests done
  10. Great plain - or make your favorite frosting.
  11. Drizzle chocolate glaze if desired or whatever you want to do
