Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place popped popcorn in a large bowl, lightly buttered.
  2. Bring the corn syrup and jello mix to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Boil over medium heat until mixture separates into a hard thread when dropped into very cold water, about 6 to 7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and pour over popcorn, mixing quickly to coat well. Let stand for about 3 to 5 minutes and with your hands buttered, shape into 1-1/2 inch balls.
  5. NOTE: these balls can also be made using Kool-Aid unsweetened drink in any flavor instead of the Jell-O, and it is the same procedure.
