  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper. In a large bowl, stir together whole wheat flour, white flour, toasted wheat germ, baking soda and salt. Gently mix in the buttermilk (or yogurt) and molasses until a soft dough is formed. Knead very lightly.
  3. Divide dough into 2 pieces: form into rounded flat loaves. Mark each loaf with an x and place on prepared baking sheets. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 40-45 minutes. Allow loaves to cool before slicing into six wedges each.
