Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; reserve 1/4 c drippings.
  2. Set the bacon aside.
  3. Add sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper to drippings.
  4. Stir in vinegar and water; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for two minutes.
  5. Add the beans; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until beans are heated through.
  6. Place in a serving bowl; top with bacon.
