Honey Barbecue Dipping Sauce (Low Fat)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1/3 cup honey (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan combine all ingredients; bring to a simmer and cook over low heat stirring occasionally for 10-15 minutes (adjusting the honey amount to suit taste).
  2. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate for at least 6 hours before using or up to 2 days.
