Ingredients:

  • 2 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 7/8 cup warm milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Measure 3 1/4 cups flour into a bowl
  2. Sprinkle yeast into 1/4 cup warm water
  3. Measure the warm milk, sugar, salt, and melted butter in a seperate mixing bowl.
  4. Stir in 1 cup flour and beat until smooth
  5. Add yeast to the mixing bowl and continue to stir
  6. Stir in the remaining flour slowly untl it is not sticking to the sides of the bowl.
  7. Take dough out of bowl and knead it 8-10 min on a floured surface
  8. Cover the dough with a bowl and let rise for 20 minutes
  9. Roll dough into shape of ban.
  10. Then roll it up and pinch the seams and ends closed.
  11. Place in a greased bread pan
  12. Brush the surface with oil
  13. Place in refrigorator for 2-48 hours
  14. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  15. Bake 30/40 minutes
