  • 1 1/2 cups of diced celery
  • 1 stick of butter or 1/2 cup of margarine
  • 1 tsp of rubber sage
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of water or chicken broth (i prefer the chicken broth but you can use either)
  • 8 cups of dried bread crumbs (10 to 12 slices of bread, cubed and *dried over night)
  • if you dont want to leave the bread over night toast the bread in the toaster, it works just as well and is alot faster.

Directions:

  1. Put the butter onion and celery in medium skillet
  2. Cook on medium heat until the onion and celery are tender
  3. Stir in all of the seasonings
  4. Cook for 2 to 5 minutes
  5. Put the bread cubes in to a large bowl then add the skillet mixture (onion, celery, and spices) , then add the water (or chicken broth)
  6. Toss all of this togeather to mix and enjoy :)
